Well I have to say, when we were first contacted by the nice folks of the Charleston Area Reptile Expo, we were hesitant about traveling that distance for a small (fairly new) reptile show. But after talking it over with Deb, we decided to give it a shot, and we were pleasantly surprised.t We had an outstanding time and the show promoters did an outstanding job at putting it together. Even though it was a holiday weekend, they still had quite a few attendees and we will be going back in September.

We did go with a full load of animals and racks; including pvc cages and racks, arboreal cages, beardie, leopard gecko, spider cages, and a couple of  AWESOME tegu cages done in red mahogany. Let’s see for animals we had some incredible ball pythons , some of ours and some of Kevin’s from NERDs (New England Reptile Distributors). For those of you that aren’t aware of it, we are NERDs “Southern Connection” and are the only company allowed to sell Kevin’s stock under the NERD name. So IF you ever want to see some of his awesome balls (haha) without taking the trip to NH, come see us at any of the many shows we attend. Debby came with some incredible leopard geckos, as usual, as well as bearded dragons, hedgehogs, uromastyx, chameleons, whiptails, knight anoles, aussie knobtails, tegus, and some other stuff that I can’t remember. In all we had a 10 table spread, it was our biggest yet. I remember years ago when we had 2 tables, how we’ve grown and we owe it all to our customers. So thank you for your support.

Bruce and Cindy came with us and we actually spent an extra day, considering it WAS Easter lol, and planned to stop at a nice restaurant for an Easter dinner on the way home. Well it didn’t quite happen that way and we ended up at Ruby Tuesdays and believe it or not, NO special Easter dinners. :(. So a HUGE shout out goes to them for all their hard work that weekend. We couldn’t have done it without them.

Because we did have so much to do, and never enough time to do it in, we didn’t get many pics of the animals, but we did get a bunch of the table and set up. Please feel free to give us your thoughts on it.

Oh and before I forget to mention it, we also sell some cool NERD stuff like his books, spider posters, and t-shirts so you can always pick up some of those from us too.
